A garden scene

I am posting from my phone which I normally never do. I am sitting in the garden in the sun and nothing in the world could make me drag myself inside to pick up the laptop. Oliver is sleeping in the shadow of our apple tree and life is so relaxed. I wish it would last! Of course you know what they say if you do not have the clouds you cannot really appreciate the sun. And this is literally true. When I had just left sunny Naples I really did not care to be outside every time it was sunny, after more than 10 years in Eindhoven if it is sunny and I am confined inside I feel like dying.

We did not have very imaginative ideas to fill this long hemelvaart weekend and spur of the moment initiatives are typically severely punished in the Netherlands therefore we are enjoying each other company and the amenities of our garden. No biggie though, thanks to modern technology we have as many interaction with the rest of the world as we would wish.
